What’s it all about?
As Head of Media Connected Planning, you will be responsible for the planning and activation of a sizeable media budget for the UK and Ireland business units. Supporting over 10 brands, across 4 categories you will lead a team of talented planners to develop integrated omni-channel marketing campaigns, delivering on ROI and brand-building targets.

This role is flexible with hybrid working currently in place. The role is in London but occasionally there may be a need to travel to other offices in the UK.

What you will be doing:
  • Working with the global and local teams to design and implement the connected media strategy for all UK and Ireland brands.
  • Ensuring plans are connected Through the Line (TTL),  across all consumer and customer channels.
  • Building campaigns for all media channels, including TV, OOH, PR, Social, Websites and Email.
  • Leading the planning activities to drive ROI improvement.
  • Managing delivery and performance of the media agency.
  • Overseeing briefs, providing feedback on responses and building connected activation plans.
  • Providing post-campaign analysis, reporting against predefined objectives.
  • Driving the activation of the data strategy.
  • Establishing strong internal and external relationships. 
  • Leading a team of 8, with 5 direct reports.
  • Responsible for a substantial working media spend.
  
What we need from you:
  • Proven experience in a similar role in-house in a large matrix global organisation. Ideally in FMCG, with Digital Marketing and planning proficiency.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing data-led performance marketing strategies. 
  • Detailed understanding of key media channels - TV, Search, Social and PR.
  • Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior key stakeholders and an ability to persuade, influence and constructively challenge. 
  • Strong project management skills and a critical eye for detail.
  • Demonstrable creative and commercial approach to planning and delivering campaigns aligned to market needs with clear understanding of ROI metrics.
  • A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
